Sinéad Mc Dermott, Tourism Manager for Leitrim and has over 25 years experience in the tourism industry and is responsible for Marketing and Product Development for Leitrim. Sinead is a key contributor to tourism in Ireland and was part of the initial team that developed the concept of Slow Adventure Tourism. She has a strong desire to contribute to the growth of the region and develop Slow Adventure on the Island of Ireland. She believes today's tourist is seeking more of an experience from their holiday by immersing themselves in the local culture and discovering new places. Myself and my husband Seamus own and operate a bicycle rental and guided cycle tour business in Leitrim Village for the last 9 years.  Having lived all our lives in this very rural area of Ireland we are passionate about show casing the unique beauty and tranquility of our local area to our customers in a friendly and caring manner.. My favourite travel related things to do in Leitrim is to visit cafes and restaurants serving award winning local artisan produce, to award winning fine dining experiences within our local area.
